I practiced as a Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist in Zimbabwe for many
years, developing a Family Therapy training organisation there.
In 1997 I moved to Crawley, West Sussex and joined the NHS full-time. Within a year
I achieved consultant grade and have been involved in management, direct clinical
work and supervision of other staff since then. I retired to Private Practice in
December 2009, though I also continue to do some supervision and training part-time
in the NHS.
I also continue to be involved in teaching and training more generally. Notably,
I do some teaching on a Doctoral course in Clinical Psychology and on an MSc in Clinical
Supervision. I have been involved in running training workshops for supervisors
and therapists. I also give organisational and individual consultancy, including
ongoing contracts of a set number of hours a month or one-off team-building workshops.
